I was born in Antarctica. My mother was a polar bear and my father was a misplaced Eskimo. When I was five, I swam to the tropical island of Mauritius where I learned all about birds and met a Dodo, which I named Blasty and made my friend. When I was eleven, Blasty and I bade goodbye to our friends and began a trek across Africa. When I was fifteen I reached Kenya, and while I was in Nairobi I received a letter from my mother informing me that my father was dead. Blasty the Dodo found me a helpful and opportunistic native, who flew with me back to Antarctica for a price. However, when we arrived I realized we’d accidentally gone to the wrong pole. On the way back we got lost on the White Cliffs of Dover. They were so pretty we built an igloo and have been there ever since.
