I feel like there should be an additional level at the start that shows you that you don't need to get every tile of a certain shape into one contiguous group. You can have two pairs of circles separate from one another.

Is there any way to download and play this as an executable, now that most browsers don't allow the old Unity player? I always really liked this game but I never managed to complete it.

I feel like black bricks should not take damage from sniper balls, or at least take a significantly lowered amount of damage, so that snipers aren't so uniquely overpowered.

As far as I can tell, World 3, Special Stage 3 can only be solved by guessing (at least on easy mode). I can't say I care for that.

Having now beaten the game and evaluating it purely as a puzzle game: It's good. The animations are good, the effects used to make the projectors seem real are good, the puzzles have some rough spots but once you get into the more elaborate stuff they're good too. Later puzzles show a really good application of the antepiece/setpiece design to help the player through. It feels like certain elements, such as the fuse or the switches, could've been used for more than they were, but you're pretty much always bound to run into that in a puzzle game For a teaching tool to learn electrical physics, it's pretty good as well. The only thing keeping me from a perfect score is the visual design, which is oftentimes lacking. 4/5.

Thanks for this nice comment - totally agree on the visual design side - the design kind of evolved rather than starting with a clear artistic vision and I think this shows through.

Got to the puzzle where you have to raise one lift and get the amp mater to 1/4th of an amp, decided to log off and come back on today. Load game took me allllllllll the way back to the beginning of the game, to the projector saying "You might be wondering what this place is, it used to be a school". I'm not going to play through all that all over again just to get back to where I was, sorry. Game could really benefit from certain checkpoints that you could level-select from, which might be a bit more reliable than simply saving the player's last position.

Again sorry for the frustration you must have felt. I've uploaded a new version which should fix this problem. It should also find and restore the save game that you lost (it did save t was just hidden). You may need to clear the cache in your browser for the new version to appear (it should say version 1.05 in bottom right corner of main menu screen). When you clear the cache DO NOT clear the "site data" - as this will wipe out all the saved games. If you find your saved game is really lost - message me again and I'll send you a work around.

Not fully completed the game yet, but I may as well give a few impressions. The game's visual aspect could use work; the standard unity background seen through the windows leaves some stuff to be desired. The mechanics of the game are pretty good, but the puzzles sometimes feel a bit meandering and repetitive, at least in the beginning. A long string of the first puzzles amount to "connect the door to the fuel cell", and occasionally disconnecting it afterward. In that phase of the game, it would've been much more productive to introduce other simple machines like the lifting platform, if you really needed to pad out the length. I particularly don't care for the puzzles which center around "figure out which of these cross-room connectors are duds", and the rooms which contain the doubled pipes right next to one another really, really don't need them.

Hi thanks for the comment. I agree with your comment about the initial puzzles, though it was never my intention to pad the game out (i've spent quite a lot of time trying to take stuff out to make it shorter!) - the trouble was the people who had no experience with circuits had quite a lot of difficulty just getting their head around the concept of a circuit and the idea of breaking it and completing it again. So these initially puzzles are designed to really hammer that home before things get more complicated - but yes, the downside of that is that the beginning of the game is a bit slow (especially if you have experience with circuits before). But yes, as you say, they could have been made more interesting :)

Recomputing the network needs work. It'd be best if new buildings would compute the nearest path to any needed resource, and update the network as connections are made, before the full network is computed.

I think that the introduction of higher numbers needed to be a bit more obvious. It says in the instructions, sure, but for puzzle games like this intuitive tutorials are key. It wasn't entirely clear at first why the 2 square wouldn't allow me to move out of it.
