Next, the AI is a joke sometimes. I just watched my ally run AWAY from our flag, WHILE holding the enemy flag,because an enemy was there. All my complaints aside, I do like the addition of more troops and weapons and whatnot, but jeez, if the cost is the story, then no thanks. I'd be happy with less custom and more story again. But having both would be pretty awesome too ;) Not to downplay the difficulty of that, but if you're up for the challenge...
I love the SFH series, but this is ridiculous. Firstly, I love that you can get your own team. The randomness is a nice touch, but I hate how rigid and uncustomizable they are. No editing whatsoever- what you get is the end of it. But more importantly, where did the life go? It's so boring and uninteresting now. It's just some Shooter. If I had to pick between customizing and the cool little quips and fun of the old teams, then I'd pick the latter. The length at some point is just a drag. There's no story at all, just killing a bunch of bad jokes. What's with the names? This isn't CoD online, I shouldn't be commanding my squad to kill Lol99999. It's nonsense.
