I'm going to call this done. I finally got to the quest "Balance". It requires 18 dolorium cells, 18 vents, 18 heat exchangers, 18 plates, 18 coolant cells. The single dolorium cells produce 4.5B heat/tick without any adjacency multipliers. The vents dump 1.2B heat and the plates store 129B heat. That's a surplus of 3.3B heat that simply cannot be dealt with. The top tier of heat vents can't keep up with the next-to-last single fuel cells.
Bug: If I have 2 wires, 1 with cost 2 and one with cost 512, I can sell the 2 cost one for almost nothing and then get stuck paying 512 again to replace it. All components should cost the same.
It looks like you've broken a lot of stuff with this update. Heat exchangers hooked up to a balanced heat event (one that is receiving heat but maintains 0 heat) randomly absorb heat. First it would blow up, then I upgraded my heat exchanger and then then it blow up the vent, even though the vent never went over 0 heat. Then the heat exchanger sits at 10%ish heat next to other heat events without dumping that heat.
I'm sure you're aware about the capacitor chokepoint. But the margin for error also becomes nearly nil in end-game too. In addition to component heat and plating not scaling, faster ticks only makes the time to react if something goes wrong even smaller.
Power and heat fill up super fast in end-game.
I upload it to Kong server and they decided host it in game220639.konggames.com Why? I'm not sure it's because my game is in html5, the only I know is I can't do anything. I see in forum other games have the same problem, but we are only a few.
Heat exchangers don't seem to favor pumping heat into heat events. I can surround a heat event with 4 heat exchangers and the heat events stay at 50% while the vent is at 0%. This makes it hard to tell if I need more exchangers to pipe heat into vents or more vents.
The controls are too inconsistent. Sometimes the arrow keys move directly, some times they're relative, sometimes space jumps (but up does not). Is quality control a microgame too?
Fun game, but it takes forever to get cards. So much grinding. I have ideas for decks but the game won't let me test them because I don't have the cards.
A game based around crappy physics and a very big lack of any kind of control. Block is tilted or decided to bounce to a particular side when it landed square? Oh well, not much you can do but restart.
