Greatest game in the entire universe! Wow! That was so unexpected! A little on the short side, but still, a pretty astonishingly fun game, nevertheless! I wonder when You Have To Burn The Rope 2 will be available? Hopefully soon!
I made the mistake and chose to play the game on the "Original" difficulty. That was a mistake I will not soon forget, or make again. But regardless to say, what a great, great game and it's not that difficult. Guess people just can't handle difficult games. haha
Firstly, I want that soundtrack. Secondly, for being such a short game(although I guess you should play the game several times for the entire package as stated in the games description), the game is incredibly well-done. The developer definitely knew what he was doing. It's noted that you should wear headphones for the full experience(considering the little guy is also wearing headphones in the game, so it makes sense that you should, too.) The best part is the music that moves with you while walking and jumping. And if you get stuck, move backwards(the music also goes backwards) so that you can correct your mistake. And the birds was a nice touch, too.
It's one HELL of a fun game at that. Can't wait for Take a Walk 2. Also, did I mention I want that soundtrack?
Well, I just screwed the pooch on that one. My char was pretty much nearly unstoppable. I hadn't used an Escape Wing since F30-40, and just kept going and going, collecting more and more charms and gold weap/armor, etc along the way. I finally made it all the way to F100. I didn't know how difficult the boss was so I used an Escape Wing so I could save all my gold items. 'Cause if I had died I would have lost all my newer gold items as well as starting back at F29. I wanted to avoid that. So I used my Escape Wing, and what happens next shocked me. Sure, I kept all my newer gold items, but I had LOST all weapons(300 DMG weapons). New game started, and sure enough I was back at F89, BUT without my weapons. So now I have less than 900G and a default weapon with 3 DMG. Which means I royally screwed myself into oblivion. Last time I was at F72 or something and didn't use a Health Potion in time, died, started back at F29. And now this happens. Third times a 'charm', eh? Here we go. Again.
YES! Finally got the Hard badge after about maybe ten tries. lol I finally starting being very patient with the controls(took it very slow, but not too slow) while traversing those crazy icy levels so I don't get spiked and so I could get most of the bubbles. Stats for Hard badge: 247 Bubbles/13 Deaths/9:23 min = 22837 Points - You can do it! What a great, great game! Challenging, but not too challenging. 5/5!
Also, my mistake, I take that back, there is some replayability. Didn't see the Hard and Insane modes, along with collecting all the Achievements. My mistake! :)
Took about an hour to complete all levels. Definitely one of the easier hard badges(unlike that one they had last year...Road of the Dead Hard Badge of the Dead), let me tell you...THAT one was brutal.
Great, great game! No replayability at all(unless you want to try and beat your previous score, or beat all 14 levels without dying), but still, great Hard Badge of the Day. Level 14 isn't that tough..as long as you use the Flamelauncher(shoots fireballs), definitely the best weapon in the game. I just realized that I didn't check out the Badge of the Day today, until about an hour ago, then seen that it was a Hard BotD. It was 10PM, so I was like, "Oh sh*t, not gonna happen...", but about an hour later, got it! Great game!
Wow, this is a really fun game! AND I barely got the Nerves of Steel Hard badge...seriously, came down to literally 1 minute to spare. First time was 73k, second time was 65k, then finally 83k. SO very close. And trust me, when I was getting up there close to getting 75k, was getting pretty damn nervous. Outstanding game!
