One of the most disappointing parts of this game is the lack of bosses. You get to the end of a dungeon, see a silver treasure chest, and it's just another grunt guarding it.
Additional options would make this more customizable, such as what spells to cast at what percentage; returning to town if backpack is full; focus of equipment purchases, etc. I think an in-town graphic and equipment graphics would make it much more pleasure to see, as well.
An enjoyable, short experience. To expand on this, I'd like to see different environments, upgrades to enhance future playthroughs, customizable character, and stats that update on-screen. Plus, use of stats can allow you to differentiate between enemies, such as strength-based vs. magic-based.
One problem, you can just park your plane right on top of the boss and you only take 1 HP of damage a second, making bosses a piece of cake. They can't even hit you with their own weapons when you're doing this. Also, bosses just get too easy after you knock off their wings and weapons. Other than that, this game is good.
This game took a step backwards from the previous games - it lost its sort of film noir style the former games and instead brought forth some cheesy, "make fun of itself" kind of game, which seriously detracts from what made the series great in the first place.
This game gets an A for concept. Managing resources during a zombie invasion is great. I would certainly like to see an expansion of this idea, including things such as additional buildings, options to attack, different types of zombies, and other objectives, such as reaching a set amount of survivors or establishing a supply line from point A to point B.
I truly enjoyed the game while it lasted, but I was left wanting more at the end. You defeat the boss, and nothing happens, not even a Congrats screen. I'd love to see a post game, such as an extra dungeon, a speed-run style map, or something else. After beating the game its pretty pointless to play anymore. Still, it deserves a 5/5 for something that's great fun for a few hours.
I think there's room for plenty of improvement to make this a great game. I encourage you to make a sequel.
1) Definitely needs to be longer.
2) More ships, be able to take over parts of boss ships after they are destroyed would be amazing too.
3) Boss firing patterns should be more random or pointed at you - there are currently blind spots where you can just sit and shoot.
4) Upgrades would add depth. Be able to take larger ships, strengthen yourself, etc.
If a few changes can be made to this game, this may be a keeper. First, be able to change the quality setting! Don't force it to be high quality. Second, stage transitions have to be faster, don't bother doing the score scrolling effect. Third, make all the stages available. Making them available only on the creator's site is a cheap way to get hits.
