This 'game' is nothing more than a ploy to get hits for their site. It's disgraceful that this even got play-time. The game itself is not worth the ten minutes it takes to complete; graphics are sub-par, sound certainly isn't anything spectacular, control of your ship is abysmal, play is entirely linear, simplistic and easy, and the translation/spelling issues are ridiculous.
@mecheng_analyst = If you read through the brief instructions featured in the beginning, you may remember that holding the left mouse button will reward you with a more powerful attack. Charging your attacks should make that spider level extremely easy to beat. GL!
Day 14 will net you enough points to get the achievement. The badge is awarded for cumulative points, rather than those which you have in your points bank to spend. This is one of, if not the, easiest 'hard' badge to acquire. Group slow enemies in the center of the map by circle-strafing, then pick off the faster enemies one at a time. The game will only allow a certain number of enemies to be on-screen at once. Unless you mindlessly run into an enemy you didn't see, there's little reason you should be taking any damage.
As far as this type of game goes, I really enjoyed it. I liked having the reticle visible, which isn't often the case in this genre. I would have liked to have seen easy and medium badge types available to add an incentive for kongregate players to see what else this game has to offer, as the survival mode wasn't the highlight in my experience.
I preferred the game controls the way they were prior to the badge update, and didn't find that the addition of save points added any substance to the game; they simply made it easier to complete and removed any sense of punishment from dying. It was a neat little game when I played through it yesterday, yet when replaying it to get the badges I didn't have the same enjoyment the second time around. Small gripes aside, I liked playing through the game, it's well put together, and I'd like to see more from this developer in the future. I received my badges without error, but did notice some significant problems with flash after rescuing the kitty.
Instructions state that the arrow keys are to be used for movement. I found that only the WASD keys were used as such, while the arrow keys didn't have a function. I don't like having to use my mouse to restart a level or interact with the game when the game uses only keyboard functions to otherwise play it. You spelled "you're" incorrectly at the end. I did like drowning at the end however, as it seems fitting for a game such as this.
I read many of the comments posted here prior to playing, and in doing so assumed the worst. I was more than pleasantly surprised. This is a great little puzzle game that takes me back to the NES days where precise control corresponded so nicely to success. Initially I was somewhat discouraged due to the sensitivity necessary, but realized quickly that it's not a game flaw, but rather a mechanic that I needed to learn to utilize correctly. The full version is a decent play-through, and this gives you a good idea of what it's like. Although the full game is fairly short once you know what you're doing (20 mins or so on a good run without collecting the trinkets), it'd be worthwhile to pick up if it was available on Steam or something similar for $5.

- While this may be my fault entirely, I've had issues with losing saved games. Having 24 medals, then losing a save file hurts a bit. I've checked my privacy settings, and from what I can tell the issue isn't with me clearing any flash or browser data, which leads me to believe that it's game side. I could be mistaken.
- It's difficult to determine how much of an impact the 'luck' issue has with gameplay. I've restarted countless games before I've gotten a team and weapons worth using. On one hand, it's not terrible to have certain inconsistencies, on another, I detest restarting from zero as often as I have.
(2)The game does have some points I dislike, however I may simply be clueless in a few aspects.
- I'd like to be able to make the game larger (FF 3.5.5). Is there an option to make it fullscreen? If not, that would be nice.
- Even with upgrading the shop and loot npcs, the drop rate of specific weapon types is horrific. I understand that there's an option to upgrade a particular weapon, but it would be great to have the game scale in some fashion towards the abilities of your character or teammates.
The cake is, indeed, a lie. Try pressing back while holding forward. Become the cake. Neat little game. If, say, the cake were not a lie, at what mile marker would it be?
I forgot to mention one thing; if you're going to design a game that solely uses the keyboard for in-game functions, do not make me reach for my mouse in order to restart, please.
Often, when I notice a few extremely negative comments I'm keen to agree, as the game turns out to be fairly terrible if not unplayable. However, in this case I think this game shows some promise. I really like the idea of utilizing both the 'wasd' and arrow keys simultaneously. It's different from most mouse+left-click or arrow+space games, and as such causes the player to think of both movement and fire placement in an interesting way. I don't care for the character nor enemy graphics, and the on-hit action (on enemy and on character death) seems lacking solely due to the fact that I like to see things 'pop' when they die. Explosions are for the cool kids. Add in some upgrades, pan out the camera a bit, throw in some different enemy types (movement speed, number of hits to kill, different paths), and you have a winner. The time limit and need to score gives this one a decent feel. Nice game.
An interesting piece for a budding flash programmer. Nice concept, but lacking in goodies. The view is too close for my liking. Obstructions come singularly as opposed to waves. I may have missed it in my handful of play-throughs, but I didn't see any score at the end. Any semblance of difficulty also seems to be lacking, as speed and amount of enemies doesn't increase. Could be built upon, but the the general idea of the game has been done significantly better elsewhere.
