I missed this game and am glad there is a way of playing it again. I am looking forward to seeing what the new version is like. The previews look good.
But I really think we all need to acknowledge the people behind the scenes who make this possible...and by that, of course, I mean those who replace all the explosive-filled barrels between missions!
A surprisingly satisfying little time-waster of a game that combines a little skill with luck. I'd agree perhaps some upgrades or other enhancements might help but otherwise a nice one.
Definitely among the better puzzle games out there - not so difficult as to be frustrating and off-putting, but challenging enough that when you finally solve a level, there is a feeling of accomplishment!
I have two suggestions for whatever they are worth.
- As others have pointed out, some sound might be good.
- An "undo" function would be great. Since there is a degree of trial an error working through it, having to go all the way back to the start can be annoying. Being able to drop back a step when you realize you've gone wrong would make for smoother game-play, in my opinion.
Thanks!
I ended up buying the full version on Steam - at just $1.99, I figured it was worth taking the chance. There is a lot of variations in the sets. Just when one starts getting more-of-the-same, a new set comes up that gives enough variety to keep from getting bored. The music is soothing and the game is just challenging enough to be fun. Great for when you need to take a break from work! Well done.
Apparently it saved the next time I went back. Not sure why it didn't work before? Great game - for some reason it reminds me of assembling Ikea furniture! :)
Unpuzzle and Unpuzzle 2 are just challenging enough to be fun but not so hard that it gets frustrating. New elements are added at a good pace that keep it from becoming repetitious or boring. Just the right amount of challenge! Well done!
I got through the gate, fell through the obvious trap in the path and got an error message: "An exception has occured [sic], but exception handling has been disabled. in this build. If you are the developer of this content, enable exceptions in your project WebGL player settings to be able to catch the exception or see the stack trace."
The game screen remained black and nothing further happens. Playing on Windows 10, Firefox 59.0.3
Overall concept is good. But mechanics are cumbersome. You need to pay attention to your cursor position before going into scope mode because it's impossible to scan. As someone else commented, it would be helpful to have a map. When the heads-up alerts you to enemy approaching from a location, it isn't intuitive which view to go to. Sometimes the icons for each will flash red to indicate some enemy presence, but I found it to be inconsistent. My biggest complaint is that you can't restart it. I ended up with a machine gun for my number one position without a scope. It became impossible to hit everything and the base keeps getting destroyed. I don't have enough money to change weapons for him and can't restart. So I am stuck and will likely give up on it as a result. It might also be useful to be able to sell a weapon or swap them between snipers. There is potential here and it's a shame no new versions have been released fixing some of the shortcomings. As it is, I can't recommend it.
I really enjoy these kinds of puzzle games - just difficult enough to provide a challenge but varied enough to keep it from getting boring when the rounds get tougher. The gentle music is a counterpoint to the concentration necessary to play, making for a nice little break during the work day!
I know this has been out for a while, but I seem to have found a bug - when I'm in the kitchen and click to go back to the living room, nothing happens. I'm stuck in the kitchen!
I am at the stage where I'm supposed to float across the opening (just after the first swimming pool). I get about half way and it says "overloaded" and I fall. What does that mean?
Also, I noticed when I use the right mouse button for the telekinesis it causes the character to "freeze" - I can use the tools/weapons but it does not respond to the ADSW or space bar. I had to restart three times because of that. It seems okay using the Q key. Possible bug?
Excellent game. It's just challenging enough without being too difficult and since every couple of levels something new is added, it doesn't get boring.
The characters are so annoyingly cute I purposely made a crappy bridge just to watch it drown... it's ok. I like "Cargo Bridge" (can be found on Armor Games) better, but it's a good time waster. 3 stars.
Thank you for playing! The undo function is in the making, and music is next on the to-do list :D
