If you are using the mousepad and wasd combo on laptops and are having a difficult time getting the controls to respond the way you want, here's a possible fix. (it worked for me anyway) SHORT VERSION- Turn off palmcheck enhanced setting under mouse properties settings. LONG VERSION- STEP 1: Go to touchpad settings under system settings. STEP 2: Click on additional settings. STEP 3: The mouse properties window should now be popped up. Click on settings link within mouse properties. STEP 4: Look for a setting called Palmcheck-Enhanced and click on it. STEP 5 It should pull up a slider ranging from off to max. Drag it to the off position. You should now be able to use your movement controls and mousepad together without any trouble. NOTE Unfortunately the palmcheck enhanced setting will reset to default if you shutdown your laptop so you will need to go back and do it each time you start it up. I also noticed that on some laptop models this procedure still did not solve the problem.
