We're taking a close look at the battle system as it is at the moment, with several features also planned to lessen the affect that big losses will have (which you can take a look at and vote on over at http://www.kongregate.com/forums/77-utopia-kingdoms/topics/222220-vote-for-new-feature ).
In the meantime I'll let the designers and developers know of your thoughts.

@Paxx Troops that are healed are shown up as 'Healed' in battle reports. To find out how many troops you would have lost without it, just add the healed to the dead list. If you could explain your other issue more indepth I'd love to do what I can for you.

@Andalynn; the game should be functioning on all browsers correctly (other than a few problems with IE which are being sorted), if you could clear your cookies/cache on your chosen browser it should work.
@Reinrod we're taking a look at this, it shouldn't look like it is in a window; the full screen should be visible at all times.

Thanks for the feedback. As we're still in beta we're tuning a lot of stuff and testing different things. We always adjust aspects such as these according to how our players react.

I'm sorry to hear that. We just brought in some changes to make that kind of thing more bearable too. Magical mist now increases your resource rate and stays for longer the higher level you are. We are treating this issue very seriously and hope to make many changes to the honor system, along with a complete battle system overhaul. We'd be delighted if you could check back in the future and see if it is more to your liking then.
