show moreI la burned my hand quite the Cordelia’s daughter-ly. I won first and second place in degree of burns. Lab coat said I will lose all the skin on my thumb, and most on my pointer finger. Since it was steam and not a solid object, it burned right through my skin, tore and melted it, and then went in deeper than a solid object would have, so it looks cosmetically gnarled, quite the painful, but I’m relatively fine now.
