This type of game is really not for me, because it makes me way too anxious. However, that's my own problem. The game (as far as I could get) is fantastic. The level design and music are wonderful, and the concept is very origial. Good job!
I played this demo a long while ago and loved it. Because at the time I didn't have the means to get the full game (long, jobless story), I relegated it to the back of my mind and forgot about it. But then, last week my boyfriend got it for me on Steam, and when I saw it was the same game I was elated. I've played nonstop for several days and it's even more fun than the demo. The characters are the best part.
The premise is interesting, but there are a lot of things that should be wrked on for it to be enjoyable. The ones that come to mind (they may be a personal problem, I'm not playing the game a second time): 1 - It may be just me, but after I select a unit to place, I can't change my decision. I have to waste the money. 2 - Given that the defenders can only shoot in front of them, instead of having an "area of effect" like what happens in other TD games, not being able to rotate them more than once limits gameplay greatly. 3 - I wasn't able to sell the defenders after a certain point, is that on purpose? It's annoying. 4 - There definitely should be more levels available for the defenders. There isn't enough money to fill the field with towers.
I don't know, I liked the premise, but not how it was executed. Maybe give it a second try?
I loved this game. I played Little Wheel before and I wasn't expecting much of a gaming challenge, so I had nothing to be disappointed about. I would love for OneClickDog to make a game that's charming AND challenging, but for now... I adore this little piece of art, as I adore Little Wheel.
What a nice game! The design is charming, even though it's not much of a challenge. Reminds me a little of Tim Burton and A Series of Unfortunate Events, though I can't quite say why.
If I were thoso robots, I'd secure the plug in place better. :P
Woot! I wish I had a video of it. I got swallowed by an Oozle, which was then stabbed by a Grey, which was then blown by a Void Eater!
But I'm not suited for this game. :P
This is a beautifully made game.
However... How frustrating do yo all think it is to see your "best so far" for the Raking the Leaves badge is 3991? >:(
