I do like this game, however it is lacking one really great feature that most other picross games have, and that is that when you start filling in a line you are locked into that line so you don't accidentally fill a box in an adjacent lane accidentally. Also, as the select level interface is a little non-responsive at times and there is no transition phase between the menu and the level you sometimes end up double clicking a level again and it will open it and fill in the box where you were just clicking. All the puzzles I have done so far with mistakes in them are from these two issues rearing their head. Having said that I think this is one of the most fleshed our picrosses i've played and if these small issues were fixed then this would be 5 stars for sure! Ty for the game :)

My last comment got voted down for some reason, so I'll ask again. I can't get my space bar to work on this game in google chrome. It just makes my page scroll down, so i have to manually click to add hundreds of souls :S Does anyone know how I can fix this? (dunno why a comment like this would get voted down :S)

I kinda wish the walkthrough was a bit more subtle than showing you the answer. Maybe suggesting where to look. I'm stuck right now and just wanted a nudge to see what I had missed, not "copy the answers". But then again describing the answer would be a task :S

This is a bit glitchy. My guy vanished after taking damage and I had to get hit again to reappear. Then my shotgun stopped working. It was firing but not opening the normal grey chests. Also it wouldn't let me pick up some eggs I walked over. This was all happening on the third level.

wow. just wow! you can go off the edge of the screen to avoid things. Also i'm pretty sure the enemies shouldn't be moving that fast. pretty much all the hot dogs are impossible to get without getting hit. Also why does my guy go upside down when I go left. I dont really know why I'm even asking. I'm assuming you drew all the sprites in paint in about 5 minutes, if that. You owe me 3 minutes of my life!

pretty good, but too easy. I remember levles 17-20 all took about 5 secs each, although a couple of pretty inspired ones in the middle.

The main example I have a problem with is Expert 8 (middle row on the far right)(don't want to say what the pic is) where as far as I can see the only definite is the middle one that's the 8 row, where one greem block is definite. the next biggest line is the row " '3',3,1,2" which adds to 11. In order for any of the squares of the '3' sections to be guaranteed this row would need to add up to 13(out of 15) I would love to know what the second non-guess logical step is for this puzzle. If someone can explain it to me then I will know once and for all which logical technique I am missing and I will re-rate this game back up from 1 star and apologize for moaning, but as I've looked again now and re-drawn the extreme possibilities for every line to look for overlaps and come up blank again I am more and more convinced that in that puzzle there is no logical second step(besides giving up and rating 1 star, which is what I did)

@otter why did you have to use the coins though? I've had to use coins before but they aren't a legitimate way of solving pictocrosses usually. I've now realised that in some cases the nearest I can get to logic is switching to free mode and using trial and error, which I hate doing. I enjoy the challenge of working out definite squares, noticing where gaps must go and working that way, and I've done quite a large amount of these in the past both on websites and on Picross on the DS and I've never had to guess, but I fail to agree that this version never requires guess work, and I include using coins as a non-legitimate substitute for guesswork.

@natter91 that's what I was saying though lol. The only square I could fill in was the middle one. I do the thing where you add up the numbers and then the gaps between them(where relevant) and apart from that 8 line the nearest I could get was a line with among other things a 5 in it that totalled 10, meaning that even in the group of 5 none of the squares were definites. All the other rows and columns consisted of 2s and 3s adding up to at most 10-12, meaning that again none of the squares were definites. so I don't understand how it could be done. In the end I did the level by making one guess at the start and working from that.

I'm sorry but how the hell are you even supposed to work out the bigger ones at all without guesswork. I had a 15X15 grid with two colours and only one row had any squares that defenately had a certain colour in them and that was the one row that had an 8 in them. all the rest didn't have big enough totals that you could be sure of any squares colour for sure. meaning that I have to now guess. This is supposed to be a frigging puzzle game not a fekking lucky dip. Think puzzles through before you just chuck them into the darn game.

I enjoy the principal but the execution is less impressive. With these pictogram puzzles there should never be an element of guesswork or 'cheating(the coins) involved. I stopped playing this because on a number of occasions I was faced with puzzles that couldn't be worked out on their own without guessing or using the coins. It should always be deducable by logic. Don't just draw a picture for the puzzle and leave it at that. That alone put me off due to it being a basic principle of pictograms.
