I like the Plains of War expansion but I also like goblins xD
Would be cool if you could set it up to where goblins winning battles grants you different resources; something the "good guys" can't or won't use. Would allow you to set up boards for playing as either good or evil and getting corresponding rewards based on how you play.
Perhaps a thought for future expansions :)
So when I finish Act I there is no option to save my progress. And if I start Act II with the same character, I have to relearn all my skills and stuff. Are you meant to play each act from scratch or am I missing something?
Seems that items that are supposed to grant stat bonuses aren't doing anything. Had 24 str and needed 25 to wear some armor. Got some boots that gave +1 str but still only had 24. A ring that was supposed to give +1 to all attributes doesn't seem to be working either. Other than that this is a great game ^^
Whew. Finally beat this game with my wizard. Took a lot of luck and just the right spell combinations. Polymorph proved invaluable in later levels, turning minotaurs and werewolves into bandits and spiders. Took luck with that spell too though, sometimes it would turn a werewolf into a.. werewolf >.< The sleep spell is not to be overlooked either. Hitting enemies does not wake them up so you can often finish off minion while its sleeping. In later levels though the enemies have too many hit points, you don't want to risk being in melee range with them as a wizard. Used a lot of shadow walking and teleporting to get out of sticky situations till my fireball and polymorph spells were recharged.
