In addition to what BzAli said about the FINAL CHALLENGE on epic. The boss has a health bar, I didn't notice that at first. If you stay right under him, he can't hurt you. Unfortunately he does move so it's a bit of a thrill ride. Once he gets low health, he'll move towards his castle away from yours. Once he does that, if you have some men already there charging the castle, you'll be right below him where he'll most likely not hurt you unless you're unlucky. Hopefully your men will take his castle out first. This game relies too heavily on the Shield ability.
Tip: You don't have to fully upgrade your spells. Altar only adds your max mana, you regain a percentage of your max mana per click. So if you max out your spells, it also requires more mana. In some cases, lower ability means less time but it also means in case of a low mana emergency and you desperately need the skill fast, you can use it as oppose to a maxed out skill that requires more mana and waiting a second longer can get you anihilated. Also skills get wasted like lets say you pop berserk then you kill your enemy, no more enemy and berserk is still active. Nice, but useless. So more mana for a skill that needn't be so long.
So Guild Skill is broken (the extra gold skill) and one of the best unit if not the best is Were-Tiger. Sylphs are like the mermaids in Epic War 3. Best skill seems to be Time Stop, Beserk, and Shield. Worse skill or one of the worse skill IMO is the Tower skill, the one where you summon epic tower unless the game drags out that long but it's still weak especially considering the gold invested.
I'm liking it a bit better now, still hate the range where they keep stepping up and getting killed and not being able to stop the heroes during mid action, they always get killed because of it. I also think Guild skill, the skill that grants you more gold is broken. Testing it now, I'll report back if it is working but I won't if it is indeed broken.
Epic War 3, still the best. Haven't played the fifth one yet but so far the whole bit of how your men continue to move forward even though the enemy is still alive is lame.
