No, sorry, the concept is nice albeit simple and far from new, but the unity 3D does nothing to help the game here. Why have 3D when there's only a top-down view? The player "sprite" is too small to be properly recognizeable, and it really starts to suck when you run right past batteries because you're a few pixels off.
A modifier other than Space would've been nice, I often scrolled my window down to the comments when I came back after tabbing away, because the flash object had lost focus.
As others have mentioned before, Picma was better in terms of controls, solution pictures and general design. This game here looks as if it was the game that the Picma creators looked at and said "well, we can make that better".
Yes, I know I died on the last bomb. No, I don't mind not being able to hit R right away, I'll wait for you to determine I truly failed the level, and let me reset via Space...
mcelroys5: So if the "sticky keys" are the keyboard's fault, is there any way to fix this? Plus, I've noticed this on two different computers with obviously two different keyboards, but only on certain games, so I find that hard to believe.
Weird mix of story (with hints of a grander background, or just random) and a let's-call-it-platformer. Interesting, but still some drawbacks: You can't go back in the "story" screens. Don't like that at all :/ The music... would be a lot less annoying if it didn't have such a strong variation in volume. The controls... maybe this is just a problem on my end, had a similar problem back then with Portal: Flash, but often when I died or changed the screen, it would register a key pressed at that time as still pressed, until that key was pressed and lifted again. The lives... I managed to get through at first try, despite the mentioned problems which caused probably half of my deaths, so I don't really see that much sense in them except for that achievement. It just feels unnecessary.
WunderfulWombat: Same, I placed a 'blow up' next to where the 'climb' ladder started >_<
By the way, I find this game more dangerous to the susceptible youth of today! It teaches you that every person except the leader is just a disposable tool! "A lake? Yeah, throw bodies in there so that I can cross it without getting my feet wet!" :D
