Autocasting Upgrades are neat, but missing one thing badly: To not overcast a spell, when you have contingency limit. Say I want the 4 production-boosting spells to cast as soon as there's enough mana for them, and when all four are active, I want to cast Tax Collection repeatedly, but only cast the latter when I have over 1,2k mana. What happens? After reaching 1,2k mana, Tax Collection gets casted 6 times at once, and woosh, 0 mana. What I'd like is to have Tax Collection casted as many times as it can before shrinking below the contingency limit, and not blow all the mana on it, once it surpasses the line.
Able to step over empty cloth sacks now, can flee from battle, can enchant various equipment, and many many more improvements int he game, BUT the most awesome of them all: The way our hair flicks while moving. Just priceless. :D
Well, the game DOES ahve issues now. First of all, the offline progress doesn't seem to work anymore, a lot of people (including me) has lost their overnight progress. Secondly, the rate at wich the moeny is produced is slower than it should be. For example, my Lemonade stand is stated to produce 1.3 quattuorvigintillion per second, not to mention the other factories. That combined means that I earn more than 1,5 quattuorvigintillion every second. The truth is, however, that almost 2 seconds pass until i make even 1 quattuorvigintillion, which means that the production speed calculated, and the actual production speed are not in sync.
Anybody complaining about money not going over ~9,2 quintillion, it's not really a bug, merely a limitation of the game, as the integer variable, which holds the amount of money you have is capped at 2^63, and thus, prevented from going any further (THAT might cause some interesting bugs tho, if it wasn't). :)
I'm getting really tired of people asking the same question over and over and over again: Yes, the installments that give you less money eventually (around 270-280) become more expensive then the ones that give you more money. Oil rigs start out as the most expensive, and become the cheapest after lemonade stand later on. NO, it is NOT a bug, the devs already cleared that numerous times, it's totally intentional, The lemonade stand has the lowest growth rate in price, while the newspaper has the highest, and everything after that grows slower then the one before. Once again: Not a bug, not a mistake, so don't ask about it, don't report it as a bug, because it ISN'T! Thank you very much.
@ElephantTiger: I bet you're using both mouse buttons to buy stuff. Well, if you click with both at the same time, you buy 2 pieces of the given investment, even if you only have money for one. When this happens, you'll have negative money for a while. Before the update, it was displayed with brackets around your money. Now,a fter the update tha game displays $0.00 as long as your money is below 0.
Just saying, that the game is already updated on their website (http://hyperhippo.ca/games/adventure-capitalist/), although it uses a different saving spot, so unless you do a little jiggery-pockery, you can only play there from the very start :D (Still, at least you can see the exact content of the update)
One suggestion: Sometimes as I fill the tiles, my mouse slithly slips, and I fill out a wrong tile, which was already marked with an X. I suggest the game shouldn't let you fill X-ed out tiles, thus making these accidents preventable. Other than that, pretty nice game, with a truckload of levels :)
hi, can you send me a bit more info: Does it never work? Is the shop visible on the wall or is it just a circle? Is there a sound or anything? or does the game freeze? or is it just like the spacebar does nothing?
Great game, it has everything: speed, upgrades, cars, zombies, and an awful amount of boxes. The upgrade system is quite balanced within the flow of the game, I got to buy every upgrade just before successfully completing the last map. So yea, where's the next one? :)
I think there is a bug with the game. After a while my browser crashed, and when I came abck to continue the game, all the equipments and "stats" were reset to the first one. Though I still have everything bought that i had before, and I can switch back to my current equipemnt, the stats (Power, value, and accuracy) also have been set back, and they cannot be switched between. So now I have Candy value maxed, yet only the lowest grade ones drop. Great O.o
firefox works with WebGL in different way than Google Chrome, Firefox uses GPU Chrome uses RAM memory. So we cant do anything about it
