For those who lost their save files like I did, it seems like there's a secondary file location now: C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Local\Google\Chrome\User Data\Default\Pepper Data\Shockwave Flash\WritableRoot\#SharedObjects\RANDOMCHARACTERS\chat.kongregate.com
Take your save file from:
C:\Users\YourUserName\AppData\Roaming\Macromedia\Flash Player\#SharedObjects\RANDOMCHARACTERS\chat.kongregate.com
and move it to the new folder (dig_dig_final_1.04.sol should be the save file).
Your game should be back.
I definitely lost all my saves as well. Tried on two different computers (copied from the laptop to the PC for better performance). Looked into the chat.kongregate.com folder in my AppData/Roaming/Macromedia/Flash Player, and the files are still there, but I still get no "Continue" option when I load the game.
Since 'Thropy' comes up all the time, maybe spelling it 'Trophy' would help. Also, when defeating the grandmaster, my Lose/Win ration is inverted, meaning 120 wins become 120 losses (giving a success rate of 0). Another bug (a minor one) is that when you drag an item to feed your monster, and before using it, you drag other items to sell, confirming the sale will erase the item you were planning on feeding your pet with.
It was fun up until I was on a roll, no miss, 7x multiplier, only a few songs to go, and the dial just kept spinning on and on without ever landing on a song.
On a normal day I would have stopped at round 50, but after getting to 105, I noticed that I amassed so much credit that it went negative. -1 877 5795, to be exact... Which is the phone number for Waterloo Counseling. MADNESS!
Pretty cool, though has anyone beat the secret final boss (or at least I think he's secret and final)? I get beat up so fast it's not funny, and I've arguably got the best equipment that can be found.
