Some of these final levels get REALLY sloppy. Feels like the beginning was put together with a lot of care, and towards the end ideas started running thin.
Right click > Quality > Low. It doesn't fix all the lag, but it makes it playable at least long enough to get the badges and then abandon this game just like the developer abandoned it. (P.S. It still wont be fun)
I think the simplicity of this is almost what made it stand out from other games similar to this. There could be improvements on the upgrades, as many others have stated they don't specify exactly what they are doing. However, I did like how there was only one unit type. I am sure many other people would like to see more units that all have different abilities but the single units make the game much easier to pick up. The one thing that may need looking into though is the price of a single unit. As it stands, a terminal is 125, and increases the unit cap by 10 (while also producing unlimited units). Buying 10 units would cost 150, which in the end is more gold for less, especially in the long run. That being said, a very solid game.
Thank you Negative zero, and thanks for the feedback! Your quite right about explaining what the upgrades do, I'll have to add a note about it in the tutorial at some point, take care and thanks again for all your suggestions!
I keep getting a message saying "unable to load http://qbqbqb.rezoner.net/kongregate/assets/soundsqbqbqb-songs.ogg"
Can't tell if that is just an error on Kongregates server but I look forward to coming back and trying to load this again soon!
What many people dont know is that more than half of these songs are from the Newgrounds Audio Portal. Coolio doesnt produce all these beats, but he DOES do an extremely good job, at making the best rhythm type games that I have ever seen. By far he is my favorite developer for very deserving reasons. Ive seen many rhythm games before but the one thing that stands out with Coolio is that he matches the beats up with the game. 5/5
Keep it up, your games are always a pleasure.
