I was excited at first. I was thinking "I'm gonna make my ship like Ikaruga"
Sadly I was disappointed in the end. Why? Just read all the other comments
Add a highscore thing. That would be nice. It starts to lag after a while so maybe a turn off shuriken particles button would be nice. It makes me think of Ninja Gaiden: your more likely to die from falling into holes than losing all your health. I gotz a 5860 XD
Few suggestions:
Health bar automatically shows up when a unit is under 100% health
Scrolls when you move your mouse on the edge.

it gets pretty boring after lv 10
the last gun upgrade makes it worse.
upgrading skill lengths can make it worse cuz you have to wait longer for the next skill. you should be able to use more than one at a time.
