Fun game! Would be nice if we could get an auto-Compete Manager though (maybe for Shares), even if it only worked at 1/10 the speed of manual Competition. Just so we don't have to sit and stare at the progress bar if we want to Compete to steal business from rivals.
Thanks & agreed. We have and continue to model this. We have considered perhaps an "Advertising" manager or similar to make competition happen as part of the idle experience. We tried an auto-compete in earlier testing, though, and, even at very low speed, it made the businesses grow extremely quickly for any idle period over a few hours. And it made modeling income for the adjusted unit values a little tricky. But we will look into it again, perhaps for a future version.
Muramasa is bugged. It multiplies the reward, as promised, but has no net effect on the damage - it cuts the city's HP to 25%, but also cuts your damage to 25%. Specifically, I just attacked "Ardeal" with 1000 bats, which was projected to deal 320,000 damage - instead, it did 80,000.
**VERY** good move with the Angel-bought businesses. I had avoided buying any at first because I wanted to "save" the "free" businesses for the very end, when they'd be most expensive. Tonight, I finally caved and bought 10 Newspapers for 25M Angels... and the price of the next 10 Newspapers *didn't increase!* I love the way you guys think! Keep it up!
One request - since "Progress Quests" need to be done in order, and cannot be skipped, please don't make any of them dependent on Guild activity. I understand this is an MMO, but I'm a very casual player and don't have time to play consistently enough to be in a guild.
Making Progress Quests that are Guild-dependent basically tells "solo" players (like me) "This is as far as you go - past this point, this game is Not For You."
Otherwise, great game!
Quick tip: if lag is an issue, try buying a single, *un-upgraded* Brickout, and "zoom in" on that board whenever you're waiting for cash. That way, the game only has to process one or two moving objects at a time, no matter how many maxed boards you have.
Level 5-19 is great for farming (if you still need to farm at that point in the game). The primary enemies are the armored guys (who don't attack, and just get in your way) and the mummy kings. The mummy kings are pretty durable, but deal no damage - they just keep summoning swarms of ordinary mummies. The ordinary mummies are so weak that even a single dragon (two, maybe, if you haven't bought at least 5 levels of dragon) can eradicate them by the dozens with no risk.
Just watch the XP and gold roll in!
