Love the game, but just a small suggestion: Instead of mana upgrades unlocking based on how many spells you've cast, have it based on how much mana you've used. Seems like that would make it more fair across the board for people who use only the most powerful spells they have available.
Fun game. Some suggestions for improvement: Instead of having to drag potions to my character in order for them to be used, why not just allow us to click it and it will automatically use the item. Seems kind of pointless to have to drag it to use it when your character is the only thing the potions work on. Along the same lines, I'd like to see the same thing with magic. We can only use magic on either ourselves (heals) or the monster we are currently fighting, so again it seems rather pointless and tedious to have to drag them around. Have it so that when we click on a spell, we use it on ourselves/the enemy. As it is now I haven't used a single spell other than heals just for that reason as by the time I've dragged a spell over to an enemy it is already dead.
What is it with games like these where you have to play a level over and over to grind money for upgrades? Is that supposed to make it more fun? Because it's not.
Was ready to give it a 4 after a few levels, but with the degradation of powerups over time, I gave it a 2. Got way too hard at wave 11, especially if you have no powerups.
Decent game, but it gets very repetitive quickly. The only other complaint I have is with the freeze "powerup". Very often I found this made the game more difficult as many times I had to squeeze through tiny spaces when it would have been easier if I had just left the thing alone.
Daave, you don't get infinite ammo with the minigun. It's your "clip size" that is infinite. You still have to buy ammo for it just like the rest of the guns.
Good game, only a couple of things I would change. One, make it so that enemy bullets "overlap" your fire so that you can actually see them to move out of the way. The way it is now, once you get enough power-ups, you can't see the enemy's shots and it appears you're dying for no reason. Second, the spiders. Those things are annoying as all get out when you're going for the power-ups a boss drops. Maybe give a few seconds of a "break" between the boss and the next wave of enemies so that you can grab the power-ups without dying. Sucks when you get a bunch of powerups and then lose one when one of those spiders spawns almost on top of you. Other than that, pretty fun game.
And I'd also like to know how the heck such a game gets badges, not to mention a card. Please, in the future do not put a card challenge on such a buggy game. This wasn't even worthy of badges, much less a card.
Good game, but as others have said it's kind of dumb that it kills you in the middle of a combo when you run out of fuel. Had a good one going and then boom, game over. Probably would have taken me halfway through the next level if not further in xp.
