Well, I got married at 22, my current age... are you trying to tell me something? I really liked the game. The age slowly ticking up made everything I did feel important. And the music made it very somber. It would have been nice to see every NPC's life play out as Angelo's did which I assume is part of your plan for the game. It seems too big for what you are making, but this would be great as an into. You start your life, get some skills, start a family... Then when some jerk kidnaps your family and threatens to destroy the world, you have a real reason to fight for it. I am definitely going to play this again when you update. P.S. please remove the narrator. Starting with the 4th wall broken ruined the mood for a little while which is the game's greatest strength.

Glad you liked it. As you comment, adding more aging for the npcs is our idea, but it will take time, so we couldn't do it for the first versions of the game (Which were rushed as it was part of a jam competition here in kong). About the narrator, we will probably keep it as a way of sharing some story and insights with the player, and also to give some contrast, but we will make it evolve until it blends well with the general feeling of the game.

Full upgrade crouching makes you collision box tiny. The first game I played entirely crouching put my high score from 110 to 354. I picked up 10 coins one round because they didn’t de-spawn. You may want to add mouse controls. It’s difficult to move precisely with the arrow keys and this game requires precision. Aside from that, pretty good.
