Those items come from another players (only if you login to Kongregate!), you can't combine them (until you reach AL10) and get some extra power everytime they drop.
Does it go away, when you click anywhere on the screen? If not, please try to restart the game by refreshing your browser tab. When this still doesn't work, create a bug report with some additional details, especially the shown error message.
