the difficulty curve was a little unforgiving, it went from consummately easy to painstakingly hard in one level. I get that it was the final level, but maybe you could have prepared the player by offering some harder ones in between the last and the easy ones?
or are the last few all supposed to be hard and the last one only gave me trouble because it was so long..?
well that was 993 seconds well spent, nice game. I like the fact that, technically, you don't have to complete the "game" to complete the game... I think that made sense. good work, and the achievements aren't too difficult either so bonus.
I like how he was worried the necklace would be too much, but it turns out to be an instant (no heart click needed) win. (I played through a second time just to sate my curiosity about the necklace lol)
nicely done
started out kind of fun, but then the luck requirements got very annoying very fast. I agree with some of the other comments, the game needs to reward level progression, maybe a higher starting gold, or a higher starting weapon/armour, something like that.
again the luck factor is very frustrating, as I've played through about five times, waiting for the ticket and only spending money when absolutely necessary and only getting a ticket available for purchase when I've got less than 450 gold, or spending my money on nothing but weapons (until I need to buy something else to stay alive) and still getting absolutely destroyed by the lack of cash at the later days
Good idea, good game play (For the most part) but needs some work in regards to the luck requirements, cash earned (Starting cost of nearly all my cash for a weapon upgrade on day 1, come on guys...) and so on.
ok, so those who follow my game ratings know that I rarely (if ever) give 5 stars, as there's no such thing as a perfect game.
there are a couple of problems with this game, one suggestion for improvement that I have is a 'designate target' option, even if it's chosen as a set gameplay style at the start of the game, it would make those "kill the hero" objectives a lot easier. In my opinion, the request for 100 crystal for 20 energy is a little steep, I'd rather just wait out the regen and spend my crystal (Earned, not bought as I've got no way to make online purchases, no paypal and only a debit card to my name) on cards.
All in all though it's a rather good game, I do like that the developer's taken the time to respond to reviews too, that's nice.
Thanks so much for the review and we really appreciate that. As for the 1st "designated target", I think we played other card games such as Magic, Dominions etc, yes they have this in their game. For our game, it's a pretty good suggestion and it will ask users have more strategy in the game. A pretty nice point and I have already forwarded this to our designing team. Probabaly we can introduce another feature into our game; 2nd about the Crystals exchange Energy, I don't know since I am not a numeric system designer so we would keep the current setting, but still I forwarded your suggestion to our designing team. Thank you.
I give it only four stars simply because it was so short! Curse you for making such an addictive and unique game so short! DX
Seriously though, awesome game. Feels like a new concept for platform gaming, I don't think I've ever seen a game like this one before so Kudos to you for coming up with the idea :3
Thank you!!!
