@"They don't pick up loot"-- They pick up loot after the fight is finished, if they get dragged into multiple fights they may return after the level is clear. Equip a "looter ring" from Sandy Caverns to change this behaviour.
@"The ads don't work"-- Some ads jsut don't work, but make sure your browser and flash are updated this massively improved my success with them.
@"Ads make my screen black"-- Try using a Fast Forward (found in City) or pressing the pause in the corner and clicking "exit dungeon".
@"Healer not healing"-- The heal is based on HER health, she uses 25% of her max, to heal SOMEONE ELSE (never herself) for 50% of HER max.
Quick Tips: Consumables with duration stack, drink all your potions before ascending.
Focus on your God Hand for A1-2.
Move speed and Attack speed are your friend, but careful when combining not to create items with less.
After reaching AL10 I've found a number of spectral rings (only rings so far) which have a displayed sell value of negative millions, and selling them is removing the gold.
The script involved in detecting when the cursor enters or exits the screen seems to be rather expensive. I'm constantly accidentally mousing out of the game, as well as simply doing other things while my heroes fight. The problem is that everytime I enter or exit the play area, the game hangs for a moment and if I happen to be doing a lot of other things at the time (which I often am as I play this while working in Unity) my entire computer can be caused to hang. It's less than a second but since it happens so often I felt the need to mention in incase anything can be done.
Yeah that happens if your pc is too busy/slow. Something you can try is playing on Firefox as it runs better there (just not the latest x64 version :S). I'll try making more performance improvements soon nonetheless. Good luck with your Unity project!
When I click a hero or unit there's an "Est. DPS" value shown. It would be insanely useful if this value could be included somehow in the numbers shown when comparing equipment.
In response to "Locking items on buildings" and other such things. Right now, when the game slows down due to w/e reason it slows down (usually too many cubies, but sometimes it's just being grumpy) Unity (this happens in every unity based game) gets messed up about registering clicks and will cause you to click the UI elements that appear on top of wherever your cursor is. Because of this I'm often struggling with items being unequipped, people being taken out of buildings, and buildings trying to move just because those buttons appeared where the building was on my screen, and the game registered the UI element click (as if you're using "OnButtonUp" for the UI but "OnButtonDown" for the buildings).
New Player Tip: Don't just let cubies harvest the various resources. Assign a full set of cubies to a resource, then click it furiously. The total number of resources gained will almost certainly be MUCH MUCH higher for the total "cycles" of a resource than if you JUST clicked, or JUST let the cubies harvest.
Nice game, love that "paid" currency types are so readily available. Could use a lower graphics setting than even awful to reduce resource usage while idling.
