Ice needle is a boss destroyer attack. Currently playing 2 ice mages in the back and 1 fighter/rogue in the front just in case the enemies have spell resistance. Only died once and it was a newbie mistake (forest with the three high powered stalkers lol they raped me)
Some Tips:
- At the beggining try to seize the survivor buildings to add more people to your grup
- Then try to seize a school or create one
- Don't waste your time training looters, create more and more soldiers instead
- Scientists play a big roll in the last stages of the game, try to unlock new technologies
- Pay attention to the red areas around your city, they are zombie infested and can be a great problem if they mix with a horde so send soldiers those red spots and clear the problematic areas
- Scouting is useless, don't waste you days scouting, just send soldiers and kill everything at sight
