here's my advice for this game: don't blend protesters. there's a limit to how many enemies can be on screen at a time, so more protesters means less attackers. if it becomes all protesters just blend a couple.
I guess i'm going to have to contribute to the endless flood of 'BOTD not awarding' comments. I've earned every shiny kongpanion since i joined around a year ago and i don't want to stop now. I have a feeling that the blocks update is causing this.
I like most things about this game, but the saving is horrible. My progress is only saved about 50% of the time. It doesn't seem to have anything to do with the save button. I always press that. 3/5 for now, but if this is fixed, i might increase my rating.
i think that the ice cubes are the real villains and the enemy blobs are the real victims. the level 81 boss doesn't want to hurt you, and i think it's the same for every enemy. you look sad when an enemy dies, and the enemies look sad when you die, yet the ice cubes look happy when you die. i think the ice cubes deserve to be melted. this is also why you don't care when an ice cube dies.
i've noticed something: in the scene at the end of chapter 1, talandia tells danu to find the golden scepter, which means golden scepter has not happened yet, but the chronological order says that golden scepter came before elemental link, and danu is wearing a hat that she only got during golden scepter.
my advice for this game is: when you get low on money, keep hunting monsters in the first area until andy has had 20 drinks. then keep betting $40 on shove. this should make your money go up fast.
i found an odd bug: all my cards were dark even though i had the resources to use them. i couldn't use any cards or discard, but the game wasn't frozen because the clouds kept moving and i could click the menu buttons.
okay, not much left to do for the impossible badge. let's see... so, i need to beat the last arena challenge. well, if i keep practicing, i'll get there. best distance: 3672. well that's not far from the platinum. best loot: 13252. well there goes another six months of my life.
