my tip is to expand aggressively, upgrading hard to defend miners and then falling back into easy to defend geometric shapes ie: square/octagon etc. typically composed of 3 laser with one upgraded into a pulsar and as MS come upgrade into THELs, you only need thels for MS, and as long as you have enough cells of the 3 laser component you can get by anything. launchers are shit at any level since they miss and do such low dps, only useful if your thels are out of range of nuking the MS. repair stations are the best companion for 3 cells and on mission 7 i had a station for each cell composed of 2 thels and a pulser
the key factor is energy to allow for agressive expansion and THEL usage
after coming back to this and playing all the tribes, just play the cave trolls the elves suck but are fun and the desert men are awful, also rush the harder territories first as the difficulty scales awkwardly
also turn on auto spawn in options
WHY IS THE CURSOR LAGGY ITS LIKE ITS SPECIFICALLY BUILT TO BE ANNOYING. In the fricken menus its fine but because it has to be different its in that weird laggy system!
