I think the towers don't shoot at ghost enemies when they're within a wall, which is why they sometimes ignore them even when they're within their range. Also, the target priority is a major issue.
Congratulations! You just won the Runner's High Badge and 30 points! I got 5330. The key is to hit the boxes to slow down, otherwise you won't have time to react to a bomb or window. But only hit them when you are near the top of the screen. That way if you slow down too much you can make it to the next building, which will probably be lower.
