There comes a point where the floor skipping upgrade is detrimental. For example I am skipping up to floor 25 where I can clear safely without taking damage and I skip up to 29 where I don't have enough damage to kill one of the enemies before getting wiped out. Either the upgrade should check whether or not you can handle to floor you skip to or ideally you get the estimated XP you would have got if you didn't skip those floors so skipping from 25 to 29 would give the XP of floors 26-28.
The game's speed changes depending on your monitor refresh rate. Good luck playing this game on 144 Hz. The game wasn't really playable until I turned down to 60 Hz.
The match 3 game seems unnecessary and way too luck-based for a way of unlocking more levels. Some of the later level are completely broken because the pre-filled in squares are marked as incorrect.
There needs to be scrolls bars in the menu and make it so using the scroll wheel isn't so slow. It takes nearly a full rotation of my scroll wheel to move one item down.
@GameJokerDotNet if you only have 300 bits then spending 256 for x2 isn't worth it, but if you have over 512 bits then it is worth it. Say you have 1000 bits, which would be a 4000% bonus or 40x multiplier. If you spend 256 bits to get x2 you will now have 744 bits, which is a 2976% bonus by itself, but since you have another x2 this equates to a 5952% bonus overall, greater than if you had not spent the bits.
This game throws so much at you at the start that it is hard to get interested. I'd prefer it if things unlocked over time rather than having several screens to manage from the start before really learning what the game is about.
