After I closed the game and came back a few hours later, everything seems paused. There's no time warp (and when I earned some with candy, I can't make it start running).
Hi there - could you send me a screenshot of this? TW does start paused by default - you have to click on it to set it going. Not sure if that's the issue though!
I think something's broken with the guardian on 24. It appears to save the amount of berserk from previous attempts (so it starts at 113 and then immediately jumps to 64K or something higher). Eventually it starts to get negative attack, at which point you can kill it, but it doesn't seem to take. I didn't get a reward and it's back the next time around.
The scaling has problems. In many, many cases, purchasing equipment (especially one of the shield or health equipments) makes the monsters difficult by more than it makes you stronger. If anyone is having difficulty progressing, try a run where you only increase attack and don't buy any of the stat boosting workers. I've been able to kill a lot of the Guardians that way.
Does anyone understand how Fencing works? I got past the guard for it, and it says I need 10 levels of Sword to use it (I have over 40), but I don't see it listed anywhere and haven't seen it just happen.
When I close the window and come back, all the profession-related effects disappear. The raiders are still listed with a profession, but don't have any profession skills or stat modifiers.
I like the challenges mechanism, but they're not really challenges if there's no way to know what they are without either stumbling across them or looking them up. The clues might get you in the vicinity, but you'd have no way of knowing you've already passed the time limit.
To my eye, gilding is working properly on the moon, but not on Earth. My donut stand currently says it gives about 1.3 SpSx/s, but total production is clearly less than 1 SpSx/s. It's hard to be more precise than that.
The flickering order of magnitude is giving me headaches. If the old versions did this, I didn't notice, but I am now. Maybe instead of $###.### Xtillion, where $###.##0 Xtillion numbers are shorter, causing the order of magnitude word to momentarily shift left and then shift back to the right, you could actually include the 0s so the word would always stay in the same position.
No aspect of the 5 extractors in H quest is enjoyable. You have to align them just right and the extractors are so small that you're talking about trying to edge it a single pixel to the side to make room. I got that far, spent about five minutes on it and gave up.
Regarding level 45, factoring the product of two very large primes is also easy when you already know what one of them is. But without that information, figuring it out is neither easy nor fun.
@TheJesus's comment is more or less my problem as well. However, the rewards end up in your inventory when the game disconnects, they just don't get counted against quests. I have two of the secret flashlights, but still can't complete that quest.
Finally did it!!! Went straight from starting a fresh character at level 1 to defeating the boss without escaping once! Lots of luck involved, but definitely doable with the right strategy.
Once you have a full team of six, it's impossible to look at new potential hires without firing one of the six you have. It'd be useful to be able to look at available guys to compare and decide whether it's worthwhile to fire someone.
