When you get down to it, this game gets pretty easy. The clues become much easier to read when you learn them. The puzzles are well generated and overall enjoyable, although they could be a bit more difficult. Still a great game though.
Where to begin? You have done a phenomenal job in creating lovable characters... Or, one. My one complaint is that Crystal didn't get much screen-time herself. You were able to create and amazing personality for Aisleen, but everything for Crystal was built for accumulated detail that you'd gotten from Aisleen. As for the gameplay itself, it was quite the nice turn. It's nice to see more peaceful games every once in a while that isn't completely based on nonstop action, but is instead made to reminisce on the past. For obvious reasons, not the player's past, but a character's. It was quite nice to learn about her, and it gave a much more close to heart feeling than most games would even try to make. The last point I will point out is how great the art it. Even if you're not enjoying the game, and the lack of constant energy it has, just take a minute to appreciate the beauty that was put into this game. For how simple the game was, you can see the amount of work that was put into it.
Many things to mention! First of all, music. You know I am a huge fan of music, I listen to music constantly, and there is nothing in a game I love more than music. The music in thi is great! The menu music, specifically,
is awesome! It really tells you this mood of "Something amazing is going to go on in a few minutes!" And as such, it was not too misleading. Gameplay is fun, potions specifically, from Old Man. :P I can justify this, because I love RPGs. Be it Final Fantasy, Pokemon, or many other games, I will usually take a liking to it. Lack of seizure snails, and now every bug being fixed from the beta (Correct me if I'm wrong on that, I mean the unfinished version.) that you let me play. Obviously, that's something beyond control, but it's still good to try to track them down and see what you can do. Good job on making this! (The seizure snails need a game of their own. :P)
