I commented on this game ages ago after beating it, bringing up the one major tiff I had with the thing, which was that the end levels were very long, and the degree of precision required, especially on blue-magnet clicks was murderously difficult to pull off, and how it dazzled earlier on with the simpler, shorter levels. And now I'm back, only to find that the end levels have had checkpoints added in, completely negating the only real problem I had with the experience. Kudos, Dev. You've earned a 5. Carry on and do whatever it is majestic coders do with their time.

Somehow managed to glitch the game out on the first non-tutorial level. I selected Tesla's card like it informed me to and had it permanently stuck just out of reach of my mouse to the left after trying to move it to the middle. I can't select other cards and I can't put his down to exit the menu. Might wanna look into that.

Apparently, on my most recent playthrough, Martyr, which says it should be increasing my damage, prevented me from doing damage to the Red Dragon. This is kind of odd, since I am supposedly ignoring some of its armor with Martyr on. Any thoughts?

I found the game playable, playable enough to beat it on normal difficulty. This, for an RPG showing up nowadays, is pretty rare, so well done. The gameplay was solid, though I feel balance on bosses being a problem. While none of them ever killed me, it was frustrating to spend so long chunking them down with my maximum damage a turn of around 9000. Another, slight pet peeve is that if you're going to have bosses that summon enemies, giving your players the ability to remove them fairly simply (Such as with Greenwing) is probably a better idea than otherwise (Needle, for example.) It, while solid, was frustrating, not because of dying, but little tiny bothers in fights that generally just tossed me right out of enjoying myself. Other than what I've pointed out, all I'm hoping for is an expansion where we can play Jack without having to put more into the game than we already have. Solid 3.5/5, but I'll round it to 4 for simplicity's sake. Keep it up!

Absolutely masterful. I will try to keep this short and to the point. This game was well made, the music is incredibly composed, the selection of ideological viewpoints profoundly satisfying, and the near flawless debate of some participants truly exciting and stimulating. What I found problematic was the sometimes somewhat ambiguous ties from contesting statements, but other than that, I have no complaints. Well done.

I suppose that I shall have to post again! I am fairly certain that the reason that Quickfingerz uses Unity is because of the fact that it has it's own programming language, and it's the one that he knows how to work with. If it was in Flash, then he would have had to learn an entirely new code language, and then made the game with the same unfamiliar code. That's hard business!

By no means is this a bad game. For the first 50 levels, and even a bit past that, I found myself having quite a bit of fun figuring out the single map puzzles and getting a bit frustrated when I messed up, but not enough to actually really get annoyed at the game, and I found the music, though repetitive, totally awesome. Once I hit level 57, though, it became readily apparent that I was going to have a problem, and this is why. On the smaller levels, it is quite easy to just die, restart, and get back to where you were previously, but on level 57 and onward, it becomes a test of tedium. You've already figured out HOW to do the first parts of the level, but if you so much as mess up once later on, you have to re-do every mini-level's worth of timing before that to get back to where you were. Again, I like this game a lot, but it impacted my final evaluation having to deal with that one design flaw. TL;DR: Heep the levels small and it's great :D

There seem to be a lot of comments about walljumps, and I concur, the roughness with which they are handled was a pretty fair turn off for me, but I am no platformer junkie, so take that as you will, the thing this game did different than the much compared Super Meat Boy was instead of auto-walljumping when you were in very close proximity to a wall, you had to jump when you were pressing a key to move towards the wall itself. That mechanic in and of itself feels like it will cost me momentum from holding down the key too long, even for a few frames. I like the overall gameplay, and it's all very smooth. Thanks for making it for us for free :D

As an addition to the past comment, it did NOT cause EXP loss, or reset the battle that I had just won. Also, if it's area specific code, it was at stage 7.

Aha! Found a glitch :D Perhaps it's just me, but I was playing the Ice Cult and used their Grand Transformation JUST before the end of battle stat sheet came up. (I know, it's impractical and nobody would do it) It caused the game to lock up. Hope this helps!

The "point" in using Unity in this is very likely due to the fact that Quickfingers, as a programer, uses it as opposed to Flash or Java to make his games. I am no expert on code, but I stand fairly certain that the programer would have to learn another coding language in order to have made it in Flash, or a similar, 2D interface.

In response to Kallimdor, the slight lag you will get during page flips (And less occasionally, when halfway through the current page) is likely due to the face that there has been a lot of songs since the last update, and it's doubtful that the dev has updated the cloud either. The lag could be because of the fact that there is now enough info to cause perceivable lag for everyone using the cloud.

How does this comment have +'s on it? I mean honestly? "How to mute the sound?" COME ON PEOPLE. Anyone who can't see the clearly labeled pause button AND/OR the volume slider in the top right corner shouldn't be playing games anyway, they should be in friggin school!

Here's a pretty good idea, folks! Mayhaps the dev will come out of their eternal slumber and update this eventually, and if that happens, then maybe they could shunt separate categories for covers and for original music into this thing, because it's a wee bit annoying to see so many covers rated higher than great original music.

Kong really does need a chatroom for this game, but other than that, I really like to see creator collaboration! I make it a specialty to work with songs other people make, and it's really cool getting to see all of this potential and muss with it a bit. Also, Astro, "conceited". Love and tolerance :D

This is one of the most fantastic tools that I have had the joy of using on the internet. It's incredibly simple, and yet allows for some fine tuning, while also being easy to pick up. As someone who makes music as a hobby, it was also incredibly helpful in letting me figure out how I like to produce music. I'm tempted to ask for a chatroom just for this game in order to foster relations between would be musicians and potentially produce great collaborations! Anyway, sorry for being long winded. Great tool, great fun, 5/5 and yet many improvements could be made as well

@gompasta Fear not! Though it may look that way, it is distinctly not so! I realize that covers of other songs do tend to get the highest ratings, but all of the songs I've uploaded are original, and all have a positive rating. (At the time of posting anyway. Some troll may come along and rate them down now) Just do your best to make good music and share 'em if you got 'em.

This is the first "mouse avoider" game I've seen with collisions! This makes it surprisingly hard with not too many things on screen at once. Kudos for an awesome game!
