I love the concept, but I honestly have the same issue as everyone else. The rng is ridiculous, it'd be one thing if it was like Tetris where you know what the next block is coming but instead it pulls from any part of your 'deck'. I'd love to see a sequel that's similar but with a better mechanic for you to draw pieces.
This game is an excellent challenge, I love difficult games so this is perfect for me. Definitely follow the advice of the other comments, get a good gold supply, followed by fish and only upgrade Dragon when it needs to be.
I have no idea what I'm doing wrong, my guys just decide to go back and forth constantly even though there's a set path directly for them (with gold on it).
If there's one thing I don't like about this game, it's the fact that even if you win a battle you only get 300-400 gold. Other than that it's simply amazing.
So... All you really need to beat the game is that 5300 ship and max sonic wave. I was stubborn and bought the Energy Blast and the 15k ship after that though lol
Probably the best way to do it is constantly bet $40 against Andy at the beginning (before your first exploration) and just stock up on cash. It'll help out a lot.! Plus if you found this helpful.
