Ok, so when I died (first time ever, bout halfway through the game - just wanted to see what happened) I lost 2 health permanently and was starting to freak. Then I added up my items' + values for health and mana and realized that the 2hp missing didn't match... so I experimented, and found out that those elixirs that boost HP and Mana are a PERMANENT bonus! Don't sell them thinking that such little HP/mana boost for 1 battle was useless like I was doing! Farm them and guzzle up!
There's no point to playing the Conjurer. His summons are so awful... it seems like you made SURE they were useless. The shadow has 1HP and is just a liability because he dies and then cripples you/wastes your power. The golem could be nice... if he could act more than once every 14 years, and had more than 1 meaningful ability.
And please listen to the many comments about monsters scaling with level. If RNG sucks and you fall behind on gear, you're stuck that way. The monsters keep getting harder whether or not you get lucky drops. All of your games have had this problem - bad RNG means you've wasted your time and are stuck underpowered. Put in an option for the lvl scaling, so we can turn it off and go back and farm if we fall behind. Generally a great game... but fix these issues. Please and thank you.
I don't usually bother to even vote on games, but I gave this 5 stars because somehow, it's not actually at a full 5. Ridiculous. It'd be 10 of 10, or 100% out of 100% if that were the scale. The game play is smooth, steady, possesses replay value, and is just generally fun. Not only that, but the story almost brought me to tears. For a free flash game, simply incredible. To whomever was involved in developing this - I hope you get everything you think you deserve and 10x more. *applaud*
Has anyone found a situation where a Musketeer tower and/or their special abilities is worth the investment? I haven't... I've been trying to use them in several maps and as far as I can tell, they're nearly worthless.
