Anybody else getting this? Have a solution?

Never played the first, but love the game. I appreciate the way the challenges force you to look at the map in a different way, and sort of teach you to play better. Just beat it all through in one sitting, great TD.
I'm in the same boat as ODST above...out of prior experience with these games, I started experimenting before I even clicked to begin, and found that clicking the elephant made it flip around. So I did it more. And then I was at level 31. I've not even seen level 1, and now I can't get to it. :(
Gah, why do some game developers have such a hard time making 'casual' or 'easy' actually live up to the name? Just like old-school fighting games on the SNES, where 'easy' meant "easy for the first 20 rounds, then get your behind handed to you on a silver platter over and over again by the boss's cheap tactics." At least make some way to slow down the action. I can't even click any of my abilities before I get wiped by final boss, even though I'm annihilating all the other monsters on the floor. Make 'casual' actually 'casual'-friendly, please; I don't want to spend 20 hours grinding to beat this game. That's why I picked CASUAL, for crying out loud.
Whoever thought that 'normal' was a good setting for 'casual' players is smoking crack. Goes double if you make a stupid buying decision at game start - probably faster to just start over than try to rebuild that money / exp.
Fan-Tastic Game Logic: "Hrm, I can't tell what the user clicked on...screw it, I'll just guess and move a random piece." ARGH. I don't know how many times I've had to re-do this stupid puzzle because I clicked when it wasn't 'ready' (done animating) or something, and it just randomly moved a piece. So infuriating. Besides which, I've had all the pieces 'lined up' twice now. No win for me. WTF shape am I going for, here?
Ok, it occasionally pops up and says I got some achievement, but I can't figure out how to look at them from the menu. Most of the time, I'm kind of distracted when I get them, so I don't even get to see what they are. Anybody know of a way to view your achievements?
Fun game. AI and money magnet weren't near as big of issues as people make out, although they are annoying. Never did get myself a robo-penguin; 5x Zombies + Zombie Bonus penguin + maxed speed / health boost easily beat last level, no bombs needed. No way I'm going to take the incredible amount of time it would be to afford Robo upgrades. Could probably stand to add another 10 levels to make it worthwhile.
The game is not that hard. Just keep trying.
