A couple of comments for if you (hopefully!) make a sequel. 1) Make an autofire button! There's never any reason to not be firing so having a fire key is kind of redundant. 2) Have some sort of help menu that explains stats earlier in the game. I kept putting points into stats but I didn't really know what they did until a few missions later with Johnny explaining them to me one at a time. 3) Be careful in levels about what's foreground/background. A couple times I died and didn't know why just because I got stuck on a piece of scenery that I couldn't tell was in the foreground. This isn't helped by the fact that enemies seem to be able to move through foreground while you can't. 4) Bosses shouldn't start firing until you can damage them. It feels cheap that they can get hits off on you while they're invincible. Other than that I thought this was a pretty good effort, please make another one as I'd love to see an improved version of this.

The filter effect did start to annoy me after a while, but the gameplay is easy to pick up and the music is awesome. 4/5.

This is a Nerdook game so it's going to get a ridiculous score no matter what, but I just don't think it deserves that much. 90% of the game is just picking the right unit comp that rock-paper-scissors style beats the other. Since there's no in-game encyclopedia you have to remember the unit type blurbs that only appear inbetween battles if you want any hope of winning. On top of that, you need to change unit comps for almost every level which requires money, but there's no way to replay levels or grind to get cash that I'm aware of which means you may end up in a hole with no way to get out. Usually nerdook games are simple fun and there's no real "loss penalty" so you're encouraged to keep playing even if you do poorly. Not so with this one.

Wow. Make a crappy game and get people to continue playing it because of a godawful upgrade system. Never seen this before. Do people actually enjoy these grindfests?

Difficult, mainly coming from the sticky controls. Incredibly annoying that coins collected is not saved on death.

It would be really nice if you could keep some of the xp and gold earned when you lose a stage. It also sucks that units that die gain no xp...my beserker keeps running out in front and dying each round so he's not leveling up. However, if I want to reset him because he's not doing much good now I lose all the gold I've invested in leveling him up. Kind of a crappy system.

This really needs a save feature. I came back to play again today only to find I have to open up all my perks again. Pretty frustrating when adding an autosave feature should be easy.

The 100% and no Anna bug is definitely NOT fixed, it just happened to me last game. All the areas were blue and all the side missions were checked off and she was still nowhere to be found. I tried going back to the ferry anyway and it still wouldn't let me on. Very frustrating.

Not quite sure what the point of rage mode is. You don't need it early in the game, and later in the game since it's already hard to tell between friend and foe it's easy to kill a whole bunch of friendlies while in "rage mode". After upgrading the mage's spell is much cheaper and more effective than bothering with rage mode. Also, to everyone claiming it lags--lower the quality. I had no problems whatsoever and I have a pretty average computer.

Sure, it's called "mini" but I think the complaints about the length are valid. You can click on what, four things? The game takes all of thirty seconds to beat. It's hardly a game at all. This does not deserve the rating it's getting. Look at a game like Warbears--that's a point and click that deserves a 5. Not this.

I don't know what this is a bigger rip-off of, Event Horizon or System Shock 2. It'd be nice if the damage upgrades actually did anything, or if the shield was more useful.

Neat idea but actually drawing the tracks can be a bit of a pain. I first noticed this when trying to draw the loops. If you place it in a slightly wrong position you have to undo instead of moving the piece. I do like how it shows a ghost of what you did the last time, that helps trying to fix levels.

The control scheme in this is so frustrating. The box sometimes works and usually doesn't, or I'll end up with guys still selected from the last time and accidentally give them a move command. I tried using auto-command, except then they just run around in circles which doesn't help when there's a bonus for finishing levels quickly. This means that for pretty much every level I just summon as much as I can, they move them all in one big blob.

It would be nice to have auto-equip. Whenever you re-enter at the start of the game, pretty much anything you pick up will have better stats. After you start getting some gold equipment this doesn't matter as much but still. Also, I appear to have an overabundance of wealth considering the only thing you need to buy are health potions.
