I would really like to see terrain effects, such as slowing down certain types of units, increasing defense or attack, inflicting damage over time or status effects, etc.
To defeat the Baron, simply do not do anything to him. He will kill himself with no prompting by the player. He may attack you every once in a while, so just heal yourself then.
Personally, I don't really like the idea of a sequel. Everything was wrapped up pretty nicely in the end. However, another stand alone game similar to this, or perhaps a game expanding on the Starwish universe, I am all for.
Since enemies are programed to follow you and they have slightly inferior speed and range, you can exploit the fact Destroyers can shoot backwards to beat any opposing force save for a Mothership single handedly. I took on a Testudon, two destroyers, and five fighters alone and won.
This is like James Cameron's Avatar in a sense. You've managed to successfully retell (in my opinion) a somewhat stale story concept with your own unique taste to make the game quite enjoyable and actually touching with a good aesop. As an RPG, dating sim, and visual novel, it was well made, though quite a bit predictable at times. Also, the shooter aspect of the game got a bit reptitive. 4.5/5 If there is to be a sequel or something, I'll look forward to playing it.
For the goblin level, get the Sky Dragon then... play other video games, go to Disneyland, read all the comments on kongregate, get to tenth prestige on MW2, contemplate the meaning of life, and then write a book on how the universe works. Return to Epic War 4, and you'll just have beaten the goblin level.
3/5 simply because of the damn miss system. I once went an entire battle with all of my skills missing. Fix it, and then it would be a much better game.
I'll make a list of things needing of improvement (mainly what other people said): graphics, larger playing field, better computer AI, better voices, and other elements to gameplay could be added (like abilities, and more ships). Just putting all of what people said into list form.
The good: unique gameplay (like 'orbits' and the fact you can actually blow EVERYTHING up), humor in the storyline, some ship abilities, and the clean, smooth transitions between screens. This game has a lot of potential to become one of the best games on Kongregate (and Armor Games) simply because of its unique, interesting, strategic, and fun gameplay. If you made this game into a series, with a little improvement, this game would be amazing.
