I'm on the second map and I'm finding some things that aren't all that great for game play: 1. The battles last waaaaaay too long. They need to be 3 to 5 min. max. That's a royal pain. 2. Need more options for tower placement, particularly forward. 3. Need Castle upgrades that can be bought that can repel enemy attacks. 4. Some ability to perform rudimentary tactics: a. Hold the line b. Gather and attack as a group (Rally flag is placed, when five units gather, they attack.) c. fast retreat option and rear guard option (some units sacrifice themselves to let the rest get away.)

2. If you can't protect your artillery, if you can't control your troops adequately and if they won't hold the line when you need them to, then it takes away some of the fun. It's a problem that many of this type of game possess. 3 There are a multitude of difference scenarios that this type of game can present: A. The Bull Rush: You have to break through enemy defenses and get the bulk of your troops past a certain point in a certain amount of time. (Like in the movie "A bridge too Far") B. Hold The Pass/Bridge: You have to defend a key strategic position until help arrives. C. Siege: Take a strong point. This is particularly interesting to do if there is defense in depth and you have to defeat outposts and artillery emplacements to even get the opportunity to take on the main target. D. Open the Supply line: When something is under seige, a battle can take place to temporarily free up a road to get supplies through.

I was immediately hooked and played the game through. It's great in so many ways. I have some comments: 1. Hovering over coins should be eliminated entirely because you can't control your units and pick up gold at the same time. And controlling your units is the fun part of the game. 2. I suggest a strategic element to the game where units can be split up and moved to counter various types of armies. The joy is in creating strategic and tactical maneuvers to create an advantage for the player.

Gold certainly isn't very valuable in this game. I've made it my personal quest to see how much I can make an hour. I'm up to 281,300 gold per hour. I have 10 castles. Just can't buy anything useful.

I've played this a few times, but I'm going to quit. It takes too long to level up and I'm tired of playing with ships that can't kill anything, can't damage artillery and are too slow to run away. I'm not here to be target practice.

I love this game. So much is right with it. I have some comments though for better game play for the casual player: 1. Just make all action in the daytime. A hard set piece becomes insanely difficult at night. It's not a lack of skill; it's not being able to see what you're doing. Not everyone has perfect eyesight either. 2. You can't pick off the surrounding zombies BEFORE you take on the boss in some instances. Why take away the ability of a player to strategize? A player should have the option of carefully preparing for boss encounters to prevent taking on 30 zombies and the boss at once. A careful and methodical player should be able to cleverly dispatch bosses easily. There is too much hope-and-a-prayer built into this part of the game. boss fights require a lot of running and it's too easy to be overwhelmed.

I really like the concept for the game, but it has some flaws that lead to endless grinding. First, resting is 10X too expensive. While this isn't so much of a problem for the character, it is for the pet. The pet gets to be extremely high maintenance around level 8. As I go into the jungle my level 8 pet needs 5 wild berries after every fight, or more. This means that I spend all my time berry hunting. I spend a small amount of time advancing in the game and a lot of time killing sand beetles. It's boring. I'm not going to finish the game because of this. Make resting free or very cheap and a lot of these issues go away.
