This was such a delightfully pleasant game, obviously I'd love more levels, but you have a really great thing here, it was so satisfying to watch the flames burn up all the gunpowder it was also nice having a little balance of quicky levels where you had to not have many errors! I like the music, in a bigger game it would be nice to have a longer score, I really want to come up with neat mechanics for a future game though, maybe bombs? When the fire touches a bomb it makes the surrounding scares a deathzone for a second or so? Maybe ice? Impassable but once fire passes it it turns into water? Buttons that drop impassable boulders if you step on them? Maybe buttons that activate torches so you have to plan how to navigate to and back from each button? Teleporters? Collectibles you can pick up that add an extra challenge, pacmanesque style? I think there are a lot of possibilities here! I wish you all the best for your future projects!
I'm at 7.1824 billion qubits atm so I'm decently far in the game, but I keep running into this problem where sometimes I can buy significantly less for my money, I usually when I go into a new playthrough do all the decodings, because I can get to firewall 10 without actually any hardware and they decode instantly, but I'm near the end of this playthrough where I'm about to reset again and while last game I had recggnize hotdogs v 21, I can't break 16 in this playthrough, which was frustrating because the same hardware setup I use every playthrough I didn't have enough squares for, so I don't understand what I did wrong.
cont. Even STILL, I have a sneaking suspicion that I have an even more difficult goal, but I've put so many hours into it already that I would be disappointed if I put in the effort to min-max to the point of POSSIBLY a third ending. Anyway, I've tried to make this spoiler light for those of you who like puzzles and challenge, but honestly. What a great game. Thank you so much, and after all of my thorough investigating I have to really say this is a fantastic accomplishment. My only grievance is that I feel like I'm missing several recipes, and I wish I could fly to the other islands without the use of the dragon or ship (hint hint, they're already built in!) because I found myself wasting a lot of resources solely to swap out a few pieces of equipment or get a gem and go alllll the way back, selling lots of things, weight cap awkwardly shifting as I have to move around gear, cyborg'ing, uncyborg'ing, spirit gem chasing.
After finally getting to a place where I feel my game is more or less "complete" I have to admit I'm blown away. The first time I beat the game I hoped there was more, and I wasn't let down. The SECOND time I beat the game I already had a clue the next spot to go, but what ended up happening was more than I could've even bargained for, after having found 5 semi-secret areas I uncovered an incredibly hard to make item that unveiled a FINAL secret area filled with puzzles, and after triumphing over those entered into a near debug state, finally giving me the sense of having gained dominion over the game.
I'm not sure if I'm bugged or not, but it seems like I can't feed baby dragons to turn them into adult or flying dragons, is it because I picked the enrage option? I wasn't sure what that was but I "pissed off" the dragon like 3 other times before I gave her the 5 baby dragons so I'm hoping I'm not jipped out of content just because I picked an ambiguous option after going to through and capturing 5 wyrms and feeding them all. Kind of a pain in the ass.
If you enraged your dragon, you need to defeat it. You'll get a fire gem which will let you raise a new adult dragon (but you can't access the dragon lair while there's an enraged dragon there).
I used to play an old game like this, I think it was called H2O, it had more...things though, it had different tools, and I think different fluids, like there was water and plant and stuff, just some idea if you wanted to take this to the next level, fun game though.
5/5, I just love trying out new decks and seeing cards I've never seen before, stays fresh and fun, I kind of wish that rewards came with the achievements, especially the harder ones to make you want to go for them, like crazy good cards, because after people have beaten a game, at least in my case, they want to try to dominate a game, and good cards given for finishing the hardest obstacles would eek even a bit more out of it, but all in all, great game.
Ouch, wish I would've read the comments beforehand, but I usually try not to to avoid game spoilers. Now I'm in a spot where my game cannot progress, I wish people went over their games to make sure they were fully functional before releasing them =\
Lol, love it, I'm a huge monkey island fan, and I was feeling a strong monkey island vibe from it.
Wanna-be knight, blonde hair and thin waifish character who's basically inept, and then it sealed the deal with "I'm selling these fine leather jackets", love the homage!
Did I make it to VIP?
I offered the suggestion of being able to unequip hats, and I noticed earlier that someone was missed in this patch, but I've also seen other people being skipped over because the idea was old, and my comment was rated down.
Thank you! I've added a bunch more levels in Light The Way 2 as well as a bunch new features! I hope you'll enjoy what I came up with!
