I'm going to miss flash games a little. I have better stuff to play these days, but it's nice to have games that don't ask you to invest a lot of your life into.
You might have forgotten the other 2 characters of the party. I'd honestly add a small RNG function to see if they're interesting enough to mention in the story or not.

Your game shows potential. Maybe some more detailed art assets, parallax backgrounds (any backgrounds really) etc. it would look passable. The backtracking is not welcome and maybe a way to switch between characters during a level might be nice. Also, I could recommend that the rabbit have a higher jump due to being not as useful in other situations.
