The dialogue is so bad, I'd really recommend rethinking the format of the game. Spam clicking through cliched, fan-fiction-level dialogue isn't fun. Hey, at least you got badges though

The difficulty is incredibly irritating and punishing, and there's no real connection between making the right choice and getting punished or not.

please don't reverse the direction the player moves across the screen, it's pointless and really annoying. :)

We see your point, it was an experiment we made, we'll avoid that in the next adventures. Sorry about that! ;) Anyway the direction is configured this way because you're climbing a tower!
