Just made it to wave 26. Tips: Green princess, use the regen / defense when you eat grass. (Apples count, you don't need to manually feed grass.) Upgrade wolves L3 priority, to get it automated, and keep an eye on wolves, if too many get auto-fed to dragon it slows down. Do not summon waves early, instead let dragon eat wolves and apples. (Except first wave, summon immediately to upgrade grass level 3.) Once you get the storm princess, summoning waves early is probably good, need to experiment more.
Bug: Pick a class. Click the class icon to return to class select screen. OK button appears enabled but doesn't work, clicking classes does nothing, you're locked in this screen. (You can reset once, but if you go back there, you're locked and have to reload.)
@deivydl When you kill a forest monster, if the loot spawns offscreen it just disappears. Scroll so the monster is toward the bottom, and it fixes the problem. (And it would be great if the programmer fixed this.)
Multipliers do not actually multiply the income of the specified item. The income increases, but only by a small amount, not as x5 or x10 of what it was. This is either a bug in the upgrades, or a very unclear description.
Please tell us how quickly each process completes. I know that a facebook thing is worth more than a hotdog, but it's also slower -- what I really want to know is, which is worth more per second, and there's nowhere to find that.
When placing hardware, the shapes jump around and change order, makes it annoying to place one shape several times. Also, in the top bar where we select the shape to place, if you put shapes closer together you can reduce or eliminate scrolling, which would make things easier.
Everyone having trouble with food: Use waterboys to get your food up, farm some discontent on your units until you can get barons, and only then switch to workshops. Food is a limiting resource, but it's a puzzle to be solved, and it is very solvable. (Once you get elves, use hunting ranges for a while, but you'll still want to switch back to farms and barons for lategame, they scale much harder than tree of faeries.)
I do enjoy the problem-solving aspect created by limited food. How can we get the economy going with minimal food? (I found it takes about 6.5k starting food to be reasonable, and that you want to switch back to regular farms not elf farms at that point.) How can we reach max cows before upgrading farms? (It is possible.) How can we get to the fountain, where food opens up again, with only important buildings at 1e7 upgrade? All interesting problems. I agree, food needs a buff, but I hope you don't buff it so hard that these challenges disappear -- they're what make the game interesting.
As people say, food is the limiting factor. Warehouse was overpowered before (doubled starting food, quickly scaled to infinite food), but is underpowered now. Since all levels give +100 food, optimal strategy is to get 2-3 levels of warehouse and reset. Would be better if each level gave more food, maybe doubling each time, so level 1 gives +10, level 2 gives +200, then +400 and +800, so you're really rewarded for pushing a warehouse farther instead of just getting a couple levels and resetting. Thanks for making the game and updating it!
Bug: In the Forest screen, if the thing you're hunting is near the top of the screen, the rewards try to spawn off-screen and are simply lost (not collected or collectable). They should either auto-collect or spawn on-screen.
On warehouse: It doubles the initial food, not the food production. You need to grind 30+ levels before it becomes noticeable, but it is working. (And it's cumulative across multiple runs.)
