Tried the 8 hour gym option. Came back and only getting "An unhandled error has occurred", keeping me from playing the game any further without starting over.
Mess up on one stack, and she'll discard the stack she was happy with too. :( Hard to get it right with the controls being so odd, but disappointing that messing up means completely restarting instead of just the stack you were working on.
With all the problems this game has, one thing I find horribly hilarious is adrenaline. An item you can only use while drowsy. which is a status where you can't use any items or take a turn. The only time you can use it is when you're not drowsy, and it won't let you BECAUSE you're not drowsy.
Would be a bit better if there was a keyboard shortcut for the 'proceed' button at least. Or if it remained in the same spot for fights/treasure chests.
Am I the only one bothered by the fact that you have to click and drag all the commands, but you have to hit 'space' between levels instead of clicking?
The game is /very/ broken on Chrome. Once the checker runs out, you have to use level select to go to the next level. If you 'fail', the game lets you know with a spammed, repeating popup and VERY loud, unpleasant audio. :(
I remember when I first played this, and I enjoyed it massively. There aren't many games that allow for the sort of endless grinding and training that this one does, and having it isn't a bad thing at all. It's fun and challenging, and feels rewarding. Now that I had to start over with the Kartridge stuff, I got to enjoy this from the start again, and although it's a bit hard getting back up again, it's still just as fun as I remember it being.
My first chest said it had another worm. I had 2. My second chest said it had a third worm. Instead, it took away the one I had gotten and set me back to 1.
I know there's not much of a point to this, but maybe the higher buys should just generate the lower things instead of 'buying' them to avoid the negative income problem? It's sort of what I expected when I started, so I was confused that each tick only seemed to give 1/2 or 1/3 of my total business count.
I hit 'Submit score' because it was an option, and then the game just changed to a different screen with nothing on it, but the music still played in the background.
My only issue with the game so far is that when I had the gunner ally, his Machine Gun attack did several hits of about 9 damage each, which is fine, but when enemies use that same ability, they're hitting for 45+ damage each hit. Maybe it shouldn't be usable by normal-damage enemies? Or the calculation for what damage it does should be changed.
Just two things I'd like to see changed. A) Fix the 'bought clicks' status on the statistic page to stay up to date - I often find it at some weird number, or even at 0, after buying clicks and spending them in the upgrade shop -- B) Change the number view setting to save to whatever's been chosen - It resets back to the default 'Standard' when you go back to the menu and return to the game.
