Love the game so far! Quick question, though. Why dock 30 seconds and have a five second wait for respawn? Why not just dock 35 seconds and have no respawn period? Or even if it's to give the player a chance to regroup, why not 25 seconds docked with a five second respawn? Like I said, I love the game and it isn't something that's harmful to the game, just wondering.
Thanks for the feedback! Yup you're correct, the main reason was to give the player a chance to regroup and understand they just died. So yea, in retrospect, docking 25 and giving a 5 sec respawn would be neater and would still fit the "dying makes you lose 30 sec" warning I have in there. Good point and I'll probably make that chance when I get back around to this game :)
I know this might sound odd, but I think some of the upgrades need some tweaking. Like rapid fire. Once it's maxed, there's no need to have the rapid fire duration upgrade, because you will always have rapid fire.
I love this game, though, and have been playing it for a few weeks now. This game combines the best of idles and tower defense, two of my favorite game types. Keep up the great work!
Okay, I like this game, but there are some problems.
1) I take damage even after battles end, sometimes causing me to lose the bonuses at the end.
2) Like a lot of people have, having to collect money with the mouse -- when your character moves by the mouse -- stinks.
3) Coins vanish while bosses talk.
4) Item drop seems very inconsistent. Sometimes I'll get nothing. Other times, I won't stop getting things.
Still, it's fun and like the gameplay.
I like it, but there are some problems. But everyone seems to pointed that out, so I'd just like to say what I would like to see.
-The ability to break arrows when attacking, like in Dojo of Death.
-Maybe a squeal with other monsters to play as. Really, I love this idea and it deserves another go.
Love it so far. The only thing I can think of is when you choose a buy option (x1/x3/x5), the price changed so you know how much you need to get that amount.
For those wondering, the vampire's healing ability is about 20% of the physical damage, so if you do 20 damage, you heal 4. It seems to be in fives, though, so 15-19 should heal you 3.
Some of the time trials are near impossible without higher upgrades (the one on level 2 being a perfect example), but since you can't use higher upgrades, it's almost pointless to try.
Not sure what I'm more impressed by: the fact the miner got to China or the fact he can take both explosions to the face AND the high heat and pressure of the center of the Earth.
I'm giving this game a 3/5. Taking away some of the content that was free in the first game was a damn foolish move. However, the ability to choose the difficulty, while adding in new enemies, saved this game from total failure.
