Gramophones would be an absolute novelty in that specific year. It's understandable that Devitt doesn't really know how to operate it. Also, it doesn't really have a disc and needle, but a slate cylinder.
Update on glitch guy I mentioned: more of them are launching themselves intot he stratosphere. Apparently I made them out of rocket fuel and rubber bands.
I just had a creature launch over 400 feet through the air, after having moved ten feet or so on the ground. Probably a glitch, though the other creatures were acting kinda weird too. In particular, I think it was the pistons attached to claws that were acting weird, extending quiet long (ten or twenty feet?)
the walk plane in the evolver view could be lower on the screen. all the action happens above the plane, and all the buttons are at the top of the screen. this limits the viewable area unnecessarily.
You know, I got most of the LoTR reerences, but the map itself ... I have played this game half a dozen times through and either I only just noticed, or had completely forgotten. I feel dumb.
Also, I gave the game three stars (I like it, but I don't "really like" it). I didn't take the achievement for high stars. It just doesn't feel right or me to rate something higher for the sake of an achievement.
the hell, Kong? First that weird bunny game, then that crap top down shooter yesterday, now this one? is this the week of terrible badge of the days or what?
This game is too laggy even on low quality with storage at max. For a top down, simple ai shooter, with poor graphics, this was terrible. thanks for making this a badge of the day, Kongregate.
Dislike game plots where you must collaborate with an A.I which (surprise!) is malevolent and is only using you to take over the world, and there is no way to alter the ending. The game's goal is or you to put an assload of effort into losing.
It isn't even a plot twist. It's so cliched.
