Crusher's attack speed becomes 1 once fully upgraded making this one of the best dps units in the game. General strategy: Spread out Big bubbles to slow everything, stone giant near choke points to AOE burn, Crusher & Makujin near the end of the lane, rest should be Poison Ivy. You can substitute Mok for Big Bubble and Thor for Crusher until you get them. Concentrate on getting one stone giant up first, then work on poison ivy. Get to T2 as soon as possible and then spread the upgrades evenly.
So we have an option to auto collect gold....but not crystals?
Also, need another hotkey to speed up and start next wave. Space and Enter are too far apart.
Gold: too much
Diamonds: too much
Gold/s: too much
Diamonds/s: too much
And this is only 1 hour into the game.
Need to tone down how much cash is given from selling items.
Rogue PICKPOCKET skill WORKS!!!! But only for "normal" stages.
It does not work for quest stages. Go to stage 4 and let your barb / rogue do most of the work. Check your gold at the end of the stage. You should have way more than the standard 7500ish gold.
Protip #1: Press tab in the character screen until you get a yellow box where you want to add stats. Press and hold space bar. Protip #2: Use Stein + ice set to get through normal mode and then 3 to 5 difficulties after that. Protip #3: Use robot with poison set (dagger) and 500 str/dex and the rest evenly spread among INT and VIT for godmode. Just walk to the boss and attack to win. http://i.imgur.com/yxyVFmT.jpg

LAGLESS GODMODE for INSANE AND ON: Robot + 500 agi + poison set w/ dagger. Avoid anything with hp and sp requirements per hit. Insane and on monsters do a incredible amount of damage to you....but not to robot's MANA pool. Damage to the "mana shield" is based on a percentage, not flat amount. Monsters attack you, they take about 3-5 sp and they have a 50% chance of getting poisoned and DYING. Dagger makes it better as anything around you gets automatically poisoned. No more ice shards, no more lag. Rate + if you used and like please!
Mortar and the Elf-o-Matic are OP. Instead of just doing AOE damage, it seems like they create a wall that constantly damages them. After I got both of them, I didn't need to shoot my primary gun at all. At the end of the first level buy the twin pistols and upgrade as much as you can. Leave it unmaxed and work on upgrading Scavenger Nano Elves. Then get the mortar and elf thrower.
FIRERATE does NOT make you overheat faster. IE. I was able to fire 8 shots before overheating with the sniper. After fire rate upgrade, I was able to fire 9 shots before overheating. Here are the upgrades that I think are best. Firerate > damage > crit chance > crit damage. Sniper: Piercing, Larpa, Chain Lightning, Lazer. Bazooka: Homing, Fire cloud, Mini bazooka, firework. Assault Rifle (didn't really like but...): Shotgun, Swarm, Drone, Gattling Gun
FIRERATE does speed up the heat usage. IE. I was able to fire 8 shots before overheating with the sniper. After fire rate upgrade, I was able to fire 9 shots before overheating.
gauntlet211, I never said I had all those upgrades in the beginning.
I finished the normal playthrough and I was just giving advice on how to get the endless destruction badge.
Endless Destruction Badge:
Leader's Weapon: Minigun
Leader's Skill: Napalm
Upgrades: You NEED Salvation. Future Armor and Nano Bots are optional but very helpful. I try to crash the fast start car as soon as possible so that I can be selective in the units that I obtain.
Try to aim for an even mix of Automatic Rifleman and AA Specialist.
Save your napalm for these situation.
1. Low on health, duh :P
2. Where a airstrike goes down the middle and it's followed by a V formation of jeeps. Use napalm on one half of the screen and just avoid the bullets.
3. When a tank is blocking multiple bunkers or towers.
Got it on my first try using this start. GL!
Seems like the ONLY way you can beat HARDCORE is take advantage of certain achievements. AFK in the game for 50 minutes in order to get a nice boost of 56 armor stones. Also, try to use at least one potion every battle (but keep at least 6 in reserve). That way you can get your Potion Addicted achievement I and II for 50 armor points. + if this post helped you.
TWO BUGS
f you press esc right as the level starts, you can't choose any options.
If you alt tab before a level loads, after you tab back in, the player will shoot VERY rapidly for 1 second and not shoot at all for the rest of the level.
Beasts attribute bonus as well as item bonuses counts towards the 30 stat cap unless you take them off. Is there a way to change this so the "cap" is hit and you're unable to add in more stats when your BASE stats reach 30?
