Amazing game! It feels earned, progressive, and I love that starting armor tiers change. It's fantastic to play something that actually requires a bit of attention and change, while eliminating some of the more tedious bits. Shows that you don't need auto/speedup for a good game :) Love it!
Appreciate the words :) You're right that I had no intention of making this a non-active game. The inspiration for this actually came from Diablo. Usually I get pretty bored of Diablo endgame and it becomes repetitive grinding, and the main thing I'm interested in is getting Uniques and figuring out how to add them to my build. So I wondered what would it be like if I make a game that automated the combat but focused on rapid loot selection, so here we are.
SPOILERS =====================================
for people who can't be bothered to 100%; the extra cutscene is of Xerxes (goth boy who asked for staff records) performing a satanic ritual to his god via voodoo. Implied that he's the murderer somehow
Tip if you can't pass the boss level - Stand next to left barrier but don't go through; keep spamming bullets at dog. Most of the time it'll rebound off the barrier and you can pretty much kill it in about 10 seconds.
