2nd run, chose to play with modifier giving me +25 chips and bottled shop. I'm prompted to upgrade my card draw at start, but no indication that I have NO items and must use the shop immediately. Engage in first battle with no way to win, ofc can't use my bottled shop in battle, forced to start new game with no more modifier. Gotta learn the hard way sometimes...
YES 30 seconds on challenge level, I don't think it's possible to get faster than 29 seconds, and kinda hard to tell as time instantly goes away when you finish.
Awesome game very fun. It'd be nice if you could buy up to a desired amount, as it is you have to bust out a calculator and subtract from your current amount and divide by your twins upgrade, then put in the correct number of zeros. Just a slight inconvenience, but I guess that adds to the enjoyment. Gotta do your own math.
Beginner's tip: set auto-refine on for common items EXCEPT your main weapon. Selling gems refined from items gives TONS of money for the start.
Now for your main weapon, always be on the lookout for something with attack speed of 1.56 or slightly higher (or difference of a multiple of .15). This gives you the max speed of 1.11 with a few cheap ups.
[NOTE: maybe max speed is 1.10, but I don't know if upgrading at 1.25 speed will subtract another .15, test it out, but I know 1.56 speed weapon will upgrade to 1.11 speed]
How to beat Challenge 4 (Managed to get two 1-hit-aways in a row with this method soon after implementing, several tries later beat it): Shield follows Dragon the WHOLE time. Keep Sword a safe distance away till Dragon is against a wall. When Dragon decides to move on a long stretch, often Shield tags along just within range. Then Sword strafes along and gets shots in till Dragon gets near another wall, then back off. Rinse and repeat. The Dragon's movement dictates your approach, dance with him and use the bad AI FOR you! I know, easier said than done, just be patient.
